Welcome to Suzy's Cakes!

This is a hobby that I started when I was a kid. I have been decorating cakes for my kids & other family members for a very long time. I have decorated cakes for my co-workers, and events at work. I have taken a couple of Wilton classes to enhance my skills. Please take a look at some of my creations. Thank you for visiting! :-)

FIsh Swimming in Stream

I made this cake to be entered in the State Fair cake decorating contest. I didn't make it in the contest, because the slots were filled before I got there. Oh well, I'll have to try again another time...

Tiered Cake with Flowers

One of the first cakes I decorated in the Wilton Cake Decorating courses.

Half Sheet Cake with Reverse Border

I made this cake for a friend at work. I had taken Wilton Cake Decorating courses through JoAnn's. Marble cake with Buttercream frosting.

14" Heart Shaped Wedding Cake

I made this cake before taking any classes or lessons. I worked at Dairy Queen when I was 16, and learned the basics of creating a frosting rose from the woman that decorated the cakes there. I have always loved to bake, and decided I would do this for a friend. The cake is Red Velvet.
